Job Title: Functional Consultant – SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Location: Remote
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Functional SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant to join our HRIS team. This role focuses on optimizing HR operations through effective use of SAP SuccessFactors EC. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between HR stakeholders and technical teams by translating business needs into system solutions and ensuring smooth HR processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison between HR business users and the IT team for all matters related to Employee Central.
Analyze current HR processes and recommend improvements enabled by SuccessFactors EC.
Gather, document, and validate business requirements for system enhancements or new functionality.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful configuration and deployment of system changes.
Participate in system testing (UAT), including test case development, execution, and issue tracking.
Provide functional support and guidance to HR teams on daily use of Employee Central.
Maintain system documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
Monitor system usage, identify data quality issues, and support data governance initiatives.
Support organizational changes such as reorganizations, acquisitions, or global rollouts in the EC module.
Deliver training and knowledge transfer to HR team members and end users.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in a functional HRIS or HR role with a focus on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
Strong understanding of core HR processes (hire to retire), employee data management, and organizational structures.
Experience with data analysis, reporting tools (e.g., Ad Hoc Reporting, Advanced Reporting).
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central certification.
Experience supporting global HR systems and multi-country deployments.
Familiarity with other SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Time Off, Position Management, Onboarding).
Basic understanding of data privacy, compliance, and audit requirements.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communicator with the ability to translate technical language into business terms.
